Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of decarboxylator.shop (the "Site") and any purchase you make through it. The Site is operated by ÉCRU WORKS LLC ("ÉCRU," "we," "us,"). By browsing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

The Site and the products sold on it are intended for adults 21 years of age or older. By using the Site or placing an order, you represent and warrant that you are at least 21 years old. See our Age Restriction Notice.

We sell kitchen appliances - herb decarboxylators and combination decarboxylator/infuser units - together with their accessories. We describe each product, its specifications, and its contents as accurately as we can, but colors, dimensions, and included items may vary slightly from what is displayed. We do not sell herbs, botanical material, or any controlled substance, and nothing on the Site should be read as encouraging unlawful use of any substance.

All prices are listed in US dollars and are exclusive of any applicable sales tax, which is added at checkout where required by law. An order becomes a binding sale only when we accept it and confirm shipment. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order - for example, if a price or product description contains an obvious error, if stock is unavailable, if the shipping address cannot be verified, or if we have reason to believe the purchaser is under 21 or intends unlawful use. If we cancel a paid order, we refund the full amount to your original payment method.

Orders are shipped to addresses in the United States in accordance with our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Unused items may be returned within 30 days of delivery, and manufacturing defects are covered by our limited warranty, under the terms set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. The Refund Policy states the full and exclusive scope of our return and warranty obligations.

You may not use the Site in any way that violates applicable law, interferes with its operation, scrapes or copies its content for commercial reuse, or attempts to gain unauthorized access to our systems. You may not resell products purchased on the Site in a manner that implies endorsement by ÉCRU.

The ÉCRU name, the Site's design, text, graphics, and imagery are owned by ÉCRU WORKS LLC or its licensors and are protected by trademark and copyright law. You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use only.

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, except for the express product warranty in the Refund Policy, which survives this section.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ÉCRU WORKS LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or the products. Our total liability for any claim arising out of a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the product that gave rise to the claim. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version, and the version posted on the Site applies to your use of it. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
